Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden
The adventure takes place in Ten-Towns and the surrounding area, the area to the Far North of the Sword Coast.
Characters have been drawn here, or spurred into action in the case of locals, due to a magic spell cast by Auril the Frostmaiden, a lesser deity of winter. This spell has plunged the entire region into an eternal winter of darkness and cold. They players may be drawn here in an effort to combat the spell, or to gain from the chaos that has ensued in its wake.

Game Type: Limited Campaign (min. 8 sessions, has an ending)
Rules Notes: Rules as written with Rule of Cool. Fair, challenging combat. Optimized characters not needed, but will be accommodated.
Character Creation: Standard Array/Point Buy, official content only. Character connections to each other and the world at Session Zero.
PvP Expectations: Primarily playing as a group, party conflict possible.
Content & Themes: Dark horror adventure set in the arctic of a high fantasy world. Darkness, extreme cold, isolation, mention of cannibalism, mental assault, sacrifice, harm to animals, murder. Wilderness survival sandbox at players' request. Secondary themes of sci-fi and relic-hunting.
