In this second adventure in the Sea Serpent's Trilogy, the adventurers make port in a lawless buccaneering town by the name of Pirate's Leap. Their captain, the Dread Pirate Queen, has promised the crew a legendary buried treasure. But she reveals that, first, she needs a map. The map to the buried treasure is hidden somewhere in this mess of a town.

The previous trilogy follows the adventures of the last trilogy, The Swamp Pirates, (Adventures 037, 038, and 039).
